SAP which is short for Standard Assessment Procedure, is the only government approved system for calculating the energy efficiency of a new home, an overglazed extension, or conversion of an existing building.

​

We are able to work with your plans and specifications and if necessary advise you on what may be required to ensure your project achieves compliance and ultimately building control approval.

​

We supply a complete set of documents including Compliance Reports, Overheating Reports, PEA's and EPC's.

Cost Effective Advice
​

Typically, if needed our advice will include adopting PSI Values in line with the current Part L of the building regulations. Choosing adequate building fabric and achieving a good air tightness.

​

There are different ways to ensure compliance to the new regulations such as installing air source heat pumps, air conditioning systems or for example fitting gas fired boilers accompanied with solar panels.

We don't require lengthy forms to be filled out! We read the drawings you send in along with other design documents which will save you time and hassle. 

 

The as designed Compliance Report, PEA and other accompanying reports are produced.

As Built Stage
​

When a home has finished being constructed we send out a Developers Confirmation Statement. This is used to confirm that the dwelling has been completed according to the plans and specifications. Following this statement being returned to us we can produce the as built Compliance Reports, EPC and other reports which are needed to gain a sign off form Building Control.
